Friends of Askern Lake Community group The AIMS of the group: to improve the area known as ASKERN LAKE for the benefit of the inhabitants of the area and the surrounding district; to encourage the goodwill and involvement of the wider community; to foster community spirit and encourage civic pride, with a focus on local heritage. -

Highfields Community Partnership We are a small local charity based in Highfields Doncaster helping to provide a range of activities and support to our local and wider community. -
Norton Chat 'n' Do Group The aim of the group is to provide informal friendly activities for all local people. The group is non discriminatory and actively attempts to include everyone who wishes to attend. Activities include a variety of styles of quizzes, Beetle drives, Bingo, memory games, craft work, word searches and occasional visiting speakers. Also group outings are arranged which include visits to garden centres, stately homes or restaurants. The group is managed by it's members and costs £2 which includes refreshments. We also support the Askern foodbank and raise money for charities. -
Norton Fitness and Fun A weekly exercise group for people over 50 in the Norton Parish area ( Norton, Campsall and Sutton). The exercises are aimed at maintaining co-ordination and flexibility and are adapted so that members of varying abilities can take part. The group has a qualified instructor and currently costs £3 a week. Numbers are limited so please ring before attending. -
Royal Voluntary Service Dementia Support The aim of the groups is to provide a safe and supportive environment for people to meet to participate in a wide range of activities. -
